Reports in Hong Kong say a wife cut off her husband's penis because she suspected he was having an affair.
Surgeons reattached the penis but they say he may be left impotent. He's in a stable condition.
The 54-year-old allegedly attacked him while he slept. Reports don't say if she's been arrested or charged.
The Straits Times, quoting Hong Kong's Apple Daily, says the couple went to hospital after their son heard screams coming from their bedroom.
The 30-year-old, who lives with them, rushed into the room to find his mother holding a knife and his father bleeding profusely at his crotch, the paper reports.
