Dressing Up Dick: The Japanese Art of Kokigami

In days of yore, Japanese men of the upper classes would wrap their penises in layers of cloth before going to bed with their wives and mistresses. This was because the more complex a man could make his wrapping, the longer his wife might take to unwrap that "gift" -- thereby prolonging the pleasure. Out of this subtle and creative foreplay, kokigami, the art of paper penis costumes, was born.

Kokigami is supposedly the ancient Japanese art of paper sculptures designed to be placed over the tumescent penis, in order to present the erection as a gift to the female sex partner.

Kokigami features in books like Kokigami, Performance Enhancing Adornments for the Modern Man which feature cut-out scuptures of such modern things as a car, a train, a fire engine, and even a space shuttle.
